What is Microneedling?

If you wish to improve the look of scars or stretch marks, minimize wrinkles, improve the quality and texture of your skin, treat acne and cystic acne, and want a killer exfoliation, this treatment is for you. Microneedling RF, also known as Collagen induction therapy (CIT), or skin needling is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles (microneedling the skin).

According to a 2008 study, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing treatment.

Does Microneedling Hurt?

We apply a numbing cream before the procedure, so our customers do not find it painful.

When Will I See Results?

Your skin will become more plump and smooth immediately. Results will continue to improve over the following three weeks. Best results are provided to those who can commit to 3-4 consecutive treatments over 3-4 months.

When Can I Return to Work/ Normal Activities Following Microneedling?

Needling is unique in that it does not damage the skin (non-ablative). The body’s regenerative properties build new natural collagen, elastin networks and a thicker epidermis with virtually no downtime.

The skin will be red post-treatment for approximately 48 hours. The surface will need to be protected with sunscreen for a minimum of 2 weeks following.

How Much Does Microneedling Cost?

The cost of microneedling depends upon the area treated. We highly recommend a consultation before treatment to determine if you are a candidate.

Is Microneedling Safe?

During the treatment, the Eclipse Micropen is used to create micro-injuries to the skin to aid in the production of collagen and elastin. The micro pen elite is Health Canada approved and is safe!
